BNP Paribas Open

 

The tennis stars are back in action for the BNP Paribas Open 2013. Maria Sharapova started off the game with a good match winning Francesca Schiavone 6-2, 6-1 using her power serves to break the match. She continued to use those power shots and return them fast to the former French Open champion and won the game. Petra Kvitova was the other player who advances to the third round but she had a longer match as she had lost the second match but won back at the third match. Agnieszka Radwanska also advances to the third round winning Maria Sanchez 6-2, 6-1. Another player Svetlana Kuznetsova who is actually a former World Number Two now ranked 46 is back now after her knee injury and she faces Jelena Jankovic at BNP Paribas Open. She won 0-6 6-2 7-5. She managed to win back the next two matches after the first match.
