Serena Williams clinches Sony Open Tennis title

Serena Williams has continued to show her power moves in the Sony Open Tennis. She cruises all the way to the final and met Maria Sharapova. Maria Sharapova has actually been playing really well winning all the matches at the Sony Open Tennis, a tournament which she probably had some additional feelings towards as she was after all one of the brand endorser or ambassador for its phone editions. Reaching to the final is seemingly one happy moment for Maria Sharapova  too.

At the start of the Open, Maria Sharapova took the lead 6-4 and later on Serena Williams came back to win the next two sets to end the game 4-6, 6-3, 6-0 in fashion. Serena Williams won the title the sixth time. In fact this is another interesting match between the World top two players and the bubble at the presentation adds to the nice feel of the images too.

For the two players, it certainly have been a good set of games at their tournaments so far too.

Moments at the Sony Ericsson Open 2012 Final

Maria Sharapova did not managed to clinch the championship title even though it seems she had the high chance to do so. World Number Four Agnieszka Radwanska won 7-5 6-4. Maria Sharapova who won her 7-1 times during their encounter of the games did not seems to have an upper hand over her this time as the Pole managed to crack her serves later on. It is also not too easy for the Pole as she managed to win Venus Williams and Marion Bartoli before reaching to the final.

At the double team match, Maria Kirilenko and Nadia Petrova took home the title and it ended off with a pretty jumpy and bunny conclusion. After winning the title Maria Kirilenko jumped really high up that make her looks like a sweet bunny and later on when they received the trophy they dressed themselves up to look really like bunnies and show the obvious.

Another great tennis open this year's Sony Ericsson Open 2012 is and perhaps at the next Open Maria Sharapova can reach to the final and this win back the championship title. She seems close to get back to the World No. 1 spot again.

It was a battle between two former World Number One and both have much to prove that they are still at the top of their games. Both advances with confidence and for Caroline Wozniacki who has been World Number One for consecutive two years but slipped this year after not being able to secured titles at grand slams and allowing Victoria Azarenka to climb up. She wants to win back titles and top players. For Maria Sharapova, she has been playing pretty well these days reaching to finals of the games first in Australia Open the BNP Open and now Sony Ericsson Open which she has been at the finals for many times. This time is one great game where she can win.

Caroline Wozniacki took the lead at the start winning Maria Sharapova at the first round and later on Maria Sharapova came back and won the game 4-6, 6-2, 6-4. It was a great moment for Maria Sharapova and this time she will not be meeting current World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka who was knocked out by Marion Bartoli and subsequently the French player lost too.

Now it is Maria Sharapova time to show she can win the championship.

Maria Sharapova and Caroline Wozniacki continues to shine at the Sony Ericsson Open 2012. Maria Sharapova seems to get better and better at her games now you can see her cruising at every match she played at the court with the recent update of her winning the quarter finals. Perhaps only at the second round she lost the first round but later on won back the next two rounds to proceed to the third round then.

Caroline Wozniacki also had a very good game at this Open. She also cruises all the way to semi-finals and perhaps the most happy moment for her was the quarter finals where she met Serene Williams. She won 6-4, 6-4.

Both players are making so much progress at this Open and now they will be meeting one another to see who will proceed to the final. No matter what both of them has excel in their individual games.

Tennis doubles at the Sony Ericsson Open 2011

All these while, we have always been focusing on the single matches and yes no doubt they may seems to be more exciting and the idea of probably there can only be one champion or that one can see the individual best in the single games. The team doubles is also a very exciting match to watch.

Top players can also been seen there and though it seems to be place earlier than the single tournaments with less attention. It is still a game of tennis that requires another set of strategy which involves an important aspect that is called teamwork. You can be good individually but working well with another person is another story.

Different game different strategies. Something interesting too. By the way, Daniela Hantuchova and her partner Agnieszka Radwanska won the doubles tournament and is a champion team.

It was a great showdown for the two players. Maria Sharapova former No. 1 has much to prove as a great player before. Is she still as good as before? Victoria Azarenka has much intention to keep her title as champion for the Sony Ericsson Open.

There were too many mistakes made by Maria Sharpaova and Victoria Azarenka took them well and walk away with a 6-1, 6-4 victory and the $700,000 cash prize. Maria's strokes are powerful but not accurate enough to make the cut this time.

It was a great Open for Maria though as she is now ranked World no. 9. She is back in top 10 rankings! Victoria Azarenka needless to say is a jumpy and joyful experience for her.

When Andrea Petkovic won the first set, some may be thinking that it is again another match where Maria Sharapova might after not able to be in the final and not getting back to her shape where she used to be the World No. 1. However, if you watch on later Maria Sharapova's stronger and faster pace tennis returns made her win the next two sets. Her determination to get to the final seems there at every return she hit the ball. She was elated. Very in fact when she won the match as it can be seen from the photos of her.

Maria Sharapova has finally made to the final of this Open and she will be facing Victoria Azarenka. It is now just one more step away to win a championship which she kind of endorsed.

Maria Sharapova it is time to be at your best again!

Maria Sharapova the former World No. 1 is finally heading back into the top 10. Despite committing back serves and faults, she managed to win the spot at the semi-finals after a long game of over three overs with Alexandra Dulgheru. It was a matter of who can keep the mind strong at the game after so many hours and Maria Sharapova showed that she could. It was an act of a champion.

The other semi-finalist Victoria Azarenka won Kim Clijsters, another former World No.1, a comeback champion who has recently won major tournaments open and rise to World No. 1 for a while and back to World No. 2. Victoria Azarenka herself is a champion before especially for Sony Ericsson Open where she won at 2009.

As the game becomes even more intense, all players are geared up to play to their best. Especially for Maria Sharapova, it is a good shot for her to come back to the top spot again.

Maria Sharapova looking really satisfied in winning the game.

Every time when I post about Maria Sharapova, it always had to be her glamour on the tennis arena and this time she had wore a very light but subtly attractive greenish blue attire. This probably gives the leisure and relax feel. But the match between the former No. 1 and current No. 4 Samantha Stosur is not at all that relax.

It has been a long time since Maria Sharapova had win a top 5 player. Having missed out the past years at this event even though she was the advertiser's choice for modeling their products, she finally pull of a great game. She won 6-4, 6-1 against Samantha Stosur.

A nice tennis forehand from Maria Sharapova ended the game in style. Great to go Maria Sharapova. It is time to come back besides always being those glamourous outfits but showing excellent tennis skill sets also.

Great to go Kim the new champion

Kim Clijster has once again win current champion and emerge as the winner of the Sony Ericsson Open at Miami after winning former World Number 1 like her, Justine Henin. The Belgian, 26, won 6-2 6-1 to secure this second title of hers and besides adding to her US Open champion, she has won another Williams this time Venus Williams who has been the champion for this Open for three times and had escalated to World ranking of 10th. Soon it seems she can proceed to a higher ranking with more titles in her bag if she continues her rampant performance.

When Justine Henin faced Kim Clijsters at the semi finals of the Sony Ericsson Open, it was a match that many spectators look forward to. Both former World No. 1 and both were come back retiree in tennis who kind of left for the same reason initially for their family.

Kim Clijsters showed what she still have in her and Justine Henin seemed to be a little lacked of her usual skills and lost to her in the match. Kim Clijsters won 6-2, 6-7 (3-7), 7-6 (8-6).

In the other semi-final, Venus Williams three time Sony Ericsson Open champion won 6-3, 6-4 over France's Bartoli. Bartoli funnily had something to say about her dressing which she described her attire it as a "" red dress" and with a "very, very, very high heels".

It is time for another exciting match at the final.

Ana Ivanovic rebound at Sony Ericcson Open

Ana Ivanovic with a big smile at the Sony Ericsson Open.

It has been some time and yes Ana Ivanovic the former World No. 1 seems to be on the move as she won her first match beautifully against Pauline Parmentier 6-4, 6-3. This also breaks her four-match losing streak, the longest of her career. That explains her big smile.

Also note her dressing attire from Adidas which is one that she has been wearing this while. It is certainly a simple but bright attire suitable for tennis athletes who wants to shine or brighten the atmosphere.
At the open, other top players include the Williams sisters won their matches as well.
