Let's not harp about how world no. 2 the previous several times US Open champion misbehaved and shouted at the judge for a call that she thinks is wrong. It was at that match at the crucial moment she lost to former world no. 1 , a mother, Kim Clijsters. Kim Clijsters played really well and has earned her a deserving spot at the final.

After two years of retirement her return has shown that even a mother can play tennis real well at the world class level. At the final she met the player Caroline Woznacki who stopped the run of the new phenomenon Melanie Oudin. Caroline was happy to be at the final as it was her first ever grand slam final.

During the final, Kim Clijsters has it all displaying the traits of a champion and not only that but also as a world no. 1. Her serves and returns gave Caroline a taste of Mother power and world no. 1 skills. Kim Clijsters won. She won it with real solid skills.

I remember watching the match and thinking to myself, wow what unsportsmanlike behavior on the part of Serena.
