The Australia Open 2013 continues

Maria Sharapova advances to the fourth round after the much anticipated third round with Venus Williams. She won Venus 6-1, 6-2 and after winning she did a loud shriek to express her sense of achievement which arouse some thoughts that some thought that was uncalled for and it is not the style of champion but Venus, herself made an interesting comment about this. She felt that it seems that it is like winning her is no longer worthy of celebration.

Maria Kirilenko also continue to advance with her winning Yanina Wickmayer 7-6, 6-3. Ana Ivanovic also advances after winning Jelena Jankovic 7-5, 6-3. She seems quite touched after the game. Caronline Wozniacki had also played well and she won Leisa Tsurenko 6-4, 6-3.

As the game continues, more interesting updates will come along especially on who will be through to the semi-finals.
