TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships 2012 final

At the final of the TEB BNP Paribas Open, Serene Williams continue to show her good performance and won Maria Sharapova 6-4, 6-3. It was a pretty close match and both played well but Serene Williams clinched the title in two sets of the game. She still finished at third place after Maria Sharapova who will be second in placing but she has won some pretty distinguished titles such as the Olympic gold medal, Wimbledon and US Open. She will be taking home the cash prize of US1.75million dollars. Maria Sharapova did pretty well too and she will bring home about US890,000 dollars. At the double match it is the double team Caroline Wozniacki and Nadia Petrova who won the championship and they will take home about US375,000 dollars.
