Maria Sharapova moves on to the semi-final of the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Open 2012 and she played against Victoria Azarenka the current World No. 1. In the previous games at the finals she lost the title to her so for this round Maria Sharapova is looking to play with her again. She did so. She won beautifully this time 6-4, 6-2. She won Samantha Stosur and avoided Serene Williams at the semi-finals. The game with Victoria Azarenka was different from the match which Serene Willliams and Agnieszka Radwanska played as it only took Serene Williams to win 6-2, 6-1 in 61 minutes. Playing with the World No. 1 Maria Sharapova mentioned that she needed to be ready for every shot and this time she had break her serve. She won the spot at the final and this will be an interesting final as both players Maria Sharapova and Serene Williams are on their best forms for the title.
