Maria Sharapova at the French Open

Sharapova advanced to the second round of the French Open with a 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory over Anastasiya Yakimova of Belarus. Again from the pictures there were still some plasters on her shoulder and it may take some time for her injury to be completely healed. In this round, she had showed some winning spirit which means she has not forgotten she was the world no. 1 before. Her serves seem to be much better than her previous game and is awaiting to see Maria performing at the second round. She should be able to pick up the pace as she continues to play she has the skills and now she just need to use them again. (Photo: AP)
