In about 30 minutes the player who knocks off Serena Williams in the fourth round took down the first set at the final. At the second set Marion Bartoli continue to keep firm and went on to score. The French eventually won 6-1, 6-4 and clinch the title. The first Wimbledon title for her and it has been some time since a new player has emerged as winner for this prestigious title. She is top 15 in the World and not even in top 10. Sabine Lisicki was the runner up for this prestigious game. Both had played really well in this game winning the top players to reach to the final. Excellent game for both players.
