Qualcomm to Snapdragon on Our Sports Mobile Devices

On the temporary renaming of Qualcomm Stadium to Snapdragon Stadium, the huge night sporting event of Chargers Sunday challenging Baltimore will happen. Also at the same time, two college bowl games take place with the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl on December 21 and the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl on December 28.

This renaming will commence on December 18 for approximately 11 days crossing Christmas and reaching close to the new year.

Snapdragon is the San Diego wireless chip giant, which has held the naming rights on the Mission Valley stadium since 1997. It is the brand name for the company’s family of application processors that power smartphones. Now that is big. Snapdragon processors by Qualcomm are the digital brains inside mobile devices made, that give live to them. Among  the top manufacturers of these mobiles devices are the giants Samsung, LG, Nokia, and HTC.

So get informed of the the name SnapDragon and know its history that it comes from Qualcomm and not get yourself startled where the giant have gone to on our sports mobile devices but take delight of its new name that's snappy and powerful to recall. And what better date than this holiday season of Christmas.
