The New French Open Champion

Ana Ivanovic overcomes Russian Dinara Safina, 6-4, 6-3, after having been defeated in two previous Grand Slam finals appearances.

Her win today has not only lead her to the French Open title but the World No. 1 spot dislodging Maria Sharapova.

Now she has to maintain all the way in her top condition as the previous World No. 1 is not someone to be reckon with and will fight back to get the top spot again.

The serve grip technique continues

Next in serve grip, you have to bend knees and bring your racket down behind you back in a throwing position. Your racket swing should be timed to contact the ball as it reaches the top of the toss - about 15cm above your outstretched racket and slightly in front of you. The higher you make contact, the more power you will be able to generate. Next important thing is actually to snap your wrist, following through across your body. The timing to contact the ball requires more practice at least to me and really requires much sharpness.
